Special issues & Calls for papers
Professors Oana Branzei (Western University), Susan K. Cohen (University of Pittsburgh, AMD Deputy Editor), Stefano Pascucci (University of Exeter) and Circular X' Nancy Bocken, are leading a Special Research Spotlight titled "From Circularity to Regeneration in Management and Organizations" in the Academy of Management Discoveries, which aims to "publish phenomenon-driven empirical research that theories of management and organizations neither adequately predict nor explain". The work recognises the pressing need for organizations to operate within planetary boundaries. Three research pillars are highlighted: sufficiency, biomimicry and rhythmicity. Nancy Bocken, Jonatan Pinkse, Paavo Ritala and Nicole Darnall are inviting submissions for a paper development workshop related to a special issue in Organization & Environment on the topic of “Between Circular Paralysis and Utopia: Organizational Transformations towards the Circular Economy”.
Circular X is involved in editing two special issues on business models and circular economy in management journals.
