This week, the Circular X team had its first (social-distanced) live meeting in Maastricht. We were also able to welcome Ankita Das to the team. Ankita is a PhD student in Circular Business Model Experimentation and will focus on topics like assessment and tools in addition to in-depth case research comparing experimentation in different contexts. Ankita is originally from Odisha, India and has a BSc. in Zoology & Biochemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in Environmental Sciences, Policy & Management. During her Master’s she extensively studied the practical applications of sustainability practices, across three European Universities. She is now interested in investigating how the private sector can navigate the increasing demand for a more circular economy, through strategic business model experimentation.
