Successful Week of Circular Economy
The 11th to 15th of March marked the annual Dutch Week of the Circular Economy. The Circular X team was busy joining panels and hosting workshops.
The Road to Flourishing is a game-based tool for businesses to educate and inspire about sustainable business innovation.
The Road to Flourishing tool has been under development since March 2023 and has undergone several rounds of testing, with improvements after each iteration, to ensure that it is easy to understand, fun to play, and useful. The game-based tool aims to show the breadth of sustainable business model options and encourage businesses to think beyond the easy-to-implement ones. The game is meant to be used in combination with other tools, as a warm-up or introduction exercise that takes around one hour and sets the scene for strategising.
The tool has been tested in six iterations with both researchers and business students and input has been used to make it better. As many tools are developed for businesses but their usefulness is not tested adequately, the game will be further tested with business students, consultants, and business employees and owners.
