On 23 May, Nancy Bocken gave a talk at the regional Circular Entrepreneurship Event (Grenzeloos circulair ondernemen, in Dutch) in Limburg, The Netherlands, organised by LIOF at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus. Other speakers included Maria Koijck, Mara Haverkort, and Lorna James. Nancy talked about new research on eight ways to build circular business models, building on earlier work with Prof Paavo Ritala, which discusses the innovation process (open vs. closed) vs. the circular strategy to be taken by a company (narrow, slow, close, regenerate). She also took part in a panel on the future of the circular economy and potential pitfalls and opportunities for entrepreneurs.
